Old age should be a time of peace, respect, and dignity — but for many, especially those affected by leprosy, it becomes a painful chapter of neglect. Society often abandons them, families disown them, and they are left with no one to care for their needs.
At Dev Bhoomi Samiti, we believe that no elderly person deserves to spend their last years in suffering and loneliness. That is why we have taken full responsibility for 350+ elderly leprosy-affected people who live under our care. We provide them with:
Nutritious Meals: Daily food cooked with care, ensuring they never sleep hungry.
Medical Care: Regular health check-ups, medicines, and emergency treatment.
Shelter & Warmth: Safe housing, blankets, and clothing to protect them from harsh Himalayan winters.
